Fire Text Generator
The fire text generator sets your words on fire with glowing flames that rise from the letters, and saves the result as a PNG.
Animated Fire Text CSS Generator
A PNG cannot flicker; CSS can. Pick a flame colour (classic, blue, toxic or hellfire), set the flame height and flicker speed, and the heading burns live. Copy the CSS to add burning text to a website or stream overlay.
How the Fire Effect Is Drawn
The flames are 5 blurred copies of your text, shifted upward and coloured from orange to red, behind a yellow-to-red letter fill.
Flame Colours and Their Meaning
Real flame colour depends on temperature and fuel. Blue flames are hotter than orange ones.

Fire Text Generator FAQs
Why do the flames look soft in Safari?
The flame blur uses the canvas filter feature, which some Safari versions do not support. The glow and gradient still render.
Which font looks best on fire?
Heavy fonts such as Black Ops One and Bangers hold the effect best.
Can I make animated fire text?
Yes, the CSS generator above makes flickering fire text for websites and overlays. The PNG is a still image.
Can I change the flame colour?
Yes, change the 2 fill colours in the generator, or pick blue, toxic or hellfire flames in the CSS generator.
What size should fire text be for a thumbnail?
Make the text at least a third of the thumbnail height so the flames stay visible on phones.
Is the fire text free to use?
Yes, the PNG and CSS are yours to use, including commercially.
