How do I remove Zalgo from text?
Paste it into the Zalgo cleaner above: it removes every stray combining mark and keeps precomposed accented letters. Text editors with regex can also delete U+0300–U+036F.
Is Zalgo text a virus?
No, Zalgo text is ordinary Unicode and cannot harm a device. Extremely long Zalgo text can slow down older phones while they draw it.
Why is my Zalgo text overlapping other lines?
Marks above and below are taller than the line, so they spill over. Turn off "Above" or lower the intensity.
What does "he comes" mean?
"He comes" is the catchphrase of the Zalgo meme, often written in Zalgo text itself. It refers to the fictional creature Zalgo.
How many marks can one letter have?
