Metal Band Logo Generator FAQs

Yes, the fonts are open-licensed, so the logos you make can go on merch.
How do I come up with a metal band name?
Use the band name generator above: pick a sub-genre and it combines words from that genre’s vocabulary.
Which font is most like a classic metal logo?
Metal Mania with a chrome fill gives the classic 1980s heavy metal look.
Why are black metal logos hard to read?
The style favours spiky, symmetrical shapes and atmosphere over readability.
Can I get every letter in my logo font?
Yes, download the A–Z sheet to see every letter in the current font and colours.
